Book a table
Lucky 8 has two venues — Ponsonby in Auckland and Courtenay Place in Wellington. They run separate kitchens, separate booking calendars and separate menus, so start by telling us which city you’re eating in.

Two rooms, two moods
Ponsonby is the original — a hidden red-leather room up a black stairway, warm and close. It suits date nights, small groups and anyone who wants the place to feel like a secret. Private dining seats 10–14, the Lucky Corner takes 21–27, and the whole venue goes to 80 seated.
Courtenay Place is louder and later. Three separate zones plus a balcony over the street, a DJ on Friday and Saturday, and a downstairs bar you can hire outright. Best for birthdays, work-dos and nights that are meant to run long.
Either way the food is pan-Asian small plates from $8.88, made to share — order three or four each and taste the whole table.
